An informational meeting was held on June 26, 2024, regarding the definition of the indicators in the Unit Strategic Plans in the Enterprise Data Management System for monitoring and evaluating performance indicators through the system. During the meeting, information was provided on how the Enterprise Data Management System would be used in the monitoring, evaluation, data compilation, and processing processes of our university’s 2024-2028 Strategic Plan.

In his opening speech, Acting Director of the Strategy Development Department, Emre ÇAKIR, stated that in May of the previous year, academic units were visited on-site under the leadership of our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Ramazan BAYINDIR, to provide information about the monitoring processes of Unit Strategic Plans, and online meetings were held with administrative units and research centers.

Emre ÇAKIR also highlighted that in these meetings, the importance of collecting and archiving healthy and reliable data using institutional methods for the monitoring of strategic plans was emphasized. He added that during the same meetings, it was shared that the Enterprise Data Management System would be made available to the units for collecting and archiving performance indicators during the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan period.

After Emre ÇAKIR’s speech, Prof. Dr. Fatih Emre BORAN, the Enterprise Data Management Coordinator of our university, provided information on how the Enterprise Data Management System would be used in the monitoring and evaluation processes of strategic plans. The meeting, where practical information on defining performance indicators in KVYS was provided to the units, concluded after a Q&A session.
